At Little Barn Learning, literacy intervention is never one-size-fits-all. Every lesson is thoughtfully designed using evidence-based instructional practices to meet your child's unique learning profile, helping students build the skills and confidence they need to become successful readers and writers.

Instruction is grounded in the Science of Reading and incorporates principles of Structured Literacy, drawing from research-supported approaches including Orton-Gillingham, Really Great Reading, Wilson Reading System®, and other evidence-based methodologies. Lessons are diagnostic, explicit, systematic, cumulative, and multisensory—providing students with the tools they need for lasting success.

Individualized Learning Options

One-on-One Instruction

Private, individualized lessons provide the highest level of personalized support. Each session is customized to meet your child's specific learning profile and pace, allowing for targeted intervention and meaningful progress.

Small Group Intervention

Students may also participate in carefully matched small groups of no more than three students. Groups are intentionally formed based on similar ages, skill levels, and instructional goals, allowing students to benefit from collaborative learning while still receiving individualized attention.
